The 2016 HSS Framework

Introducing the new HSS Framework!

On Tuesday, June 28 at 4:00 pm, please join us for a live webinar that provides an overview of the new draft HSS Framework.  In response to the many inquiries that the California History-Social Science Project has received about what’s involved in the new HSS Framework, the lead writers of the Framework will meet online to begin introducing the document.  This one-hour webinar will address the following topics:

  • Instructional Shifts in History-Social Science Education
  • Themes in U.S. and World History
  • Incorporation of the latest historical research
  • Adoption of Instructional Materials
  • Question and Answer Session

Participants will also receive information about the latest plans for adoption and roll-out.
